“Market Urbanism” refers to the synthesis of classical liberal economics and ethics (market), with an appreciation of the urban way of life and its benefits to society (urbanism). We advocate for the emergence of bottom up solutions to urban issues, as opposed to ones imposed from the top down.
I don’t think I’ll get the time to read “The High Cost of Free Parking” while it’s under discussion here. But just want to say that I’ve enjoyed reading your previous post on the book — it’s more informative and thoughtful (especially from a market urbanism perspective) than a regular book review — and I look forward to the next installment.
