In my day job, I’m a professional market urbanist as Senior Research Fellow and Director of the Urbanity project at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. A Boston native, I attended Northeastern University and the University of Rochester.
I first wrote for Market Urbanism in April 2020 to rapidly refute the meme that New York City’s subways were responsible for the spread of the novel coronavirus. Of all my MU posts, my own favorite is a book review of The Making of Urban Japan.
